Hi guys, this blog is for the people who really think seriously about their
nationality. Ok here it goes.....
You may say that i am wasting my time putting down these words as they may mean nothing to many.... But here i am not trying to push you people to respect all those national entities..... as we are all unfortunately free.... at least that is what we claim..... But my point is if i can get one or two people who do really think like what i feel than at least, i will get assured that i am not the only one who is a freak.....
Ok before going to other people let me share what i feel about being an indian.....
I don't feel proud about my countrymen but yes i do feel proud about it's history....Now don't get me wrong, i am not going to give you a lecture on indian history as i myself am at shortage of information... but we all have heard these famous names and places like nalanda(place) , ashoka , budhha , mahaveer .....
I really don't know how many of those roadies wannabes have heard of these things but some one who has passed his 10th and 12th from a so so CBSE school must at least have had read about them once in his life time....
Yes, those people who at least know who their president is.
NOT THE ONES WHO CLAIM TO BE A PART OF INDIAN YOUTH AND DON'T KNOW WHAT THEIR NATIONAL SONG IS??? AND THEY ARE SOME HOW PROUD THAT THEY ARE TECHNOLOGICALLY AHEAD OF MOST OF THE INDIA BCOS THEY KNOW HOW TO USE ORKUT..... AND DUE SOME UNFORTUNATE REASONS ARE ON IDIOT BOX.......
As you all know that every great country has it's own history... And in history don't see who all ruled who but observe that whenever there was a time such that the common man was more educated, the revolution took place..... For example take indian revolution itself.....
When we got freedom we had our share of well educated people.... like Dr. Rajendra Prasad(THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW HIM CAN USE THEIR TECHNOLOGY AND GOOGLE HIS NAME), and many others ..... Even those who fought for us like Bhagat singh were educated enough to understand the meaning of words like SOCIALIST,REPUBLICAN etc (AND REMEMBER HE WAS JUST 23 WHEN HE DIED)......... So that education helped them realize what basically freedom means......
Freedom doesn't really mean being free from ancient rulers or some others......
It means being free to take your own decisions and when those decisions go wrong, to accept the responsibility of damage...... And now if freedom really means just this what was the whole point in fighting for the freedom of the country.....
Yes guys there was a point, the point was that, if your father is not free to take his own decisions you will be deprived of many great facilities and if your society is not free your father is not free and to draw a larger picture if your country is not free, your society , your family and you your self are not free.....
I know you all must be thinking, this guy has no other things to do so he is wasting his time like this but let me tell you i am 22 and have never had any historical or arts background and i suck in studies as i can deduce from my marks cards and have a lot to improve ....... But people going crazy for a tv show and that too a show that indirectly claims to represent the youth of india....
I think what we need today is an educational revolution not a roadies audition to become a country of some value......
Arun, to be sorry first as this should have been jotted by me asap, but nevertheless, better late than never....The post depicts a lot on all terms of life. Roadies are excerpt from the uncanny beings lavishly encroaching possibilities of all directions of bullish entertainment. True to be true, absolutely. Weave words and they weave what man thinks is most precious, the emotions ! Correct. Till we do not mist our materialistic thoughts to revolution , which actually the tricolor possessor direly needs, we cannot have a sequel to development. raising voice is the solution, deceit is falter. Go on buddy ..thats great...off late am joining an NGO....will tell you which one and when....
