Poems From Engineering- 1

One cool night beneath the moon I heard a sound,
It came from behind and It was crystal loud,
I asked with fear "who is it?",
It answered me smoothly
"It's you I'm your inner bit"
I tried to face it & turned my head back
It yelled "no don't do it or you will crack"
I asked "Are you some ghost with night owl"
It answered "No it's me your own soul".
I denied "No no you can not be".
It asserts "that's what you do most of the times but it's really me".
Saying this it came in front.
I was shocked, as gone through by real current.
It was me handcuffed and bent down,
Face like a murderer of some local town,
Body was torn ed and full of scars,
The only thing missing were the rods of bars.

I decided to deal with it as a different being,
Persuaded myself it's not real what I am seeing,
I rubbed my eyes twice and thrice,
Soul said "You did the sins I am paying the price".

I woke up consoled on thought that this was dream
Just then I heard from inside
"You left me again and a long scream".
